Subject: HRSA Announcement: A Message from HRSA Regarding the Surgeon
General's New Family Health History Tool
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services today released an
updated and improved version of the Surgeon General's internet-based
family health history tool. The new tool makes it easier for patients to
assemble and share family health history and can also help practitioners
make better use of health history information. For more detailed
information about the new tool, please visit
http://www.hhs.gov/news/press/2009pres/01/20090113a.html.
The new tool can help families put their health history to work to
improve their health and well-being. Please encourage your patients and
colleagues to take advantage of this convenient way to track their
family health history.
