Dear HRSA Grantee:
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is working
closely with the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to monitor developing events
related to the Swine Flu Outbreak both here in the United States and
abroad.
Human cases of swine influenza A (H1N1) virus infection have been
identified in the United States and internationally. Investigations and
response efforts surrounding the outbreak of swine flu are ongoing.
This is a rapidly evolving situation and CDC will provide updated
guidance and new information as it becomes available on its Web site. As
public health officials in the United States learn more about this
emerging virus, updated guidance will be issued in conjunction with
state, local, tribal, and territorial partners. For up-to-date
information on swine flu, visit: www.cdc.gov/swineflu.
